Where are your products made?

Our products are developed, formulated and tested here in Australia and we and are currently working with our Australian manufacturing partners to have all retail production within Australia in the near future. Our production is currently in a combination of Australia and PRC (using Australian sourced raw materials, such as essential oils) due to our global distribution network. All our manufacturing sites have stringent quality control and are overseen by our development department here in Sydney to ensure the quality is always maintained to the highest standards.

Where can I obtain a full list of product ingredients?

Ingredients are listed under the ingredients heading on each individual product page. However should you require further details please email us at info@appelles.com and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Do APPELLES products contain parabens?

All our products are completely paraben free. As APPELLES contains ingredients sourced from both science and nature, we continue to be a results driven skincare brand and as such we do not claim to be a natural brand. Though you can be assured we always source the finest quality raw materials to ensure we maintain the highest quality standards.

Is APPELLES an organic or natural brand?

APPELLES products have been specifically designed to incorporate the finest essential oils and ingredients sourced from both science and nature. To ensure our products are efficacious, we continue to use non-natural ingredients that benefit the skin and hair. At this time, APPELLES products are not natural or certified organic.

Can I use APPELLES Skin lotions as a facial moisturiser?

Our APPELLES Skin Lotions have been specifically designed and tested for the nourishment of skin on the body, therefore we would not recommend them for facial use. If you were going to use any of them as a facial moisturiser replacement it would be best to use our Vitamin B5 Skin Lotion, avoiding contact with the eye area. Extracts in our other Skin Lotions are highly active and could irritate eyes or the delicate facial skin. As with any skincare product, if any irritation occurs discontinue use.

Does your company test ingredients or finished products on animals?

APPELLES is strongly against animal testing, and as such products are not tested on animals.

How should APPELLES products be stored?

The storage and cautions are listed on each product label, please refer to your packaging. As a general rule, store below 21℃.

Does APPELLES use preservatives?

To ensure our products are safe and ingredients remain stable our products contain paraben free preservatives that maintain the quality of our ingredients and product shelf life.

Are APPELLES products safe to use during pregnancy?

The APPELLES collection contains premium essential oils. It is known that some essential oils are not recommended for use during pregnancy. For caution, we would advise you seek advice from your healthcare practitioner before use.

Can APPELLES be used on children?

APPELLES is not specifically designed for children, so we would recommend you consult your GP or healthcare professional before using on young children.

How do I care for my candle?

For optimum burning time, it is important to trim the wick and keep it in the centre of the candle after each use. It is also important to ensure the candle is not left burning longer than the recommended 3 hour burning time. To avoid a “travelling/drifting wick” (the result of the wick not being properly trimmed and the flame is too large on one side of the candle) ensure that the wick is trimmed after each use and that it remains in the centre of the candle.

Does APPELLES ship to the EU/UK?

Due to regulation updates, we are unfortunately no longer able to ship to the European Union (including the United Kingdom).

What is APPELLES packaging made from and is it recyclable?

Most of our packaging is made out of PET plastic which is a safe, lightweight and 100% recyclable plastic.

Where is my order confirmation email?

Upon completing your purchase a confirmation email and invoice will be forwarded to the email address provided at time of ordering. Be sure to check your junk/spam folder just in case.

When will my order be dispatched?
